Check out this video on YouTube Lets Fly RC’s channel.
The video title seems to call out Lumenier Team pilot Charpu, but reading over the description you’ll see that it actually pays homage to his skill and gives thanks and appreciation for pushing Lets Fly RC to up his skills. Charpu himself leaves a comment on the video reciprocating the sentiment!

For all the mini quad enthusiasts out there, check out this feature packed 250 sized quad by Red Rotor RC.
V1.1 of the Strider is only 128g! And it’s capable of taking 5″ and 6″ propellers organically. No motor extensions required, though it could potentially benefit from angled motor mounts in the future.
Another feature of the Strider is filtered regulated power support for 3S-4S. No need to set any solder bridges. It also has 2 separate FPV camera connectors to provide 12V and 5V power.
Two other bonuses to mention are the inclusion of parts that are normally separate costs for other quads. The Strider includes a Jello-free isolated HD video mount, for silky smooth video! And the RROSD (Integrated OSD)! It provides a timer, voltage & current sensors, RSSI (digital and analog), remotely controlled super bright LEDs ( red in back and green in front) and a lost model siren.

Stay tuned for a Drone Garage Strider build in the future!

You just don’t come across too many of these type of videos. In this one found on Youtuber GranVlog’s channel, he documents how he consistently lost all GPS signal and the effects when flying near a radio tower. He even replicates the “experiment” and show’s how and when the GPS signal is lost.

These types of videos are valuable information for all the other pilots out there. Fortunately he didn’t suffer from any crashes or damaged gear! It’s good to come across lessons learned videos on Youtube. There’s the potential for others to learn and avoid catastrophe’s while flying.
This weeks video is another by Charpu_FPV, Team Lumenier Pilot flying a QAV250.
And as the title of the video suggests, this video is full of precision flying of loops, rolls and through small holes!
Keep in mind, this is not an inexpensive hobby! I saw numerous “opportunities” to have seriously injured or even lost some gear! Flying through metal bars, near misses with head on collisions of tree trunks, diving toward the ground only to fly through a soccer goal net and bar, flying off a cliff side right over waves crashing on rocks…oh and flying under a school bus! (It was parked!)

Imagine going for a pretty gnarly hike and launching from a remote spot to showcase the awesomeness of the outdoors around you…
That is what YouTube user Rianrex did when he hiked Cathedral Rock behind Mount Wellington in Tasmania, Australia and filmed it with his Phantom and GoPro.
It was fairly windy and the thick bush and treacherous terrain meant it would be irretrievable if it went down but that’s the risk you have to take in beautiful remote areas.
So thank you sir for taking that risk and sharing your view and so much more. It is Drone Garage’s video of the week!
(Rianrex is a Team Blackout FPV pilot sponsored by Dragonlink. He particularly enjoys flying FPV multicopters who enjoys the hobby, “…not for profit or commercial gain.” Thanks again Rianrex, looking forward to future videos!)
